Only had it for one week. Early days yet. 21 earlier scam calls added to your "block" database". 4 other dodgy calls blocked since then. No calls for a couple of days now. Most of our calls are scams - only 1 genuine caller out of the last 25! Question: Can dodgy numbers only varying by one digit at a time be automatically blocked? e.g. [****] was blocked by me as an earlier caller. They have since rung us on [****] and [****]. Had to block both. We get this a lot. Likewise, [****]/8/9. There will be more. Regards, Bruce.
For the past 2-years I have listened to my landline ring almost non stop. Calls from UK, NZ, India and Australia. I have had 3-call blocking phones go troppo in that time. I set up the CPR Call Blocker V5000 2-days ago and just 1-call managed to get through in that time, which I blocked. I am now enjoying the peace and quiet. Thank you CPR. A great invention.
We use Spectrum internet for our "landline" phone service. When first set up, we used the written instructions provided with the call blocker. There were 3 different options for connecting to our phone line. None of these worked with our phone line. After a few days of frustrating calls not being blocked, we connected the call blocker to our phone using a method not outlined in the instructions, but it worked for us! The call blocker comes with a black line connection and a white one with a red end clip. We plugged our phone line from our phone into the FIRST Line Input jack on the back of the call blocker. We plugged the cable with the red end into TEL1 input on the call blocker. The other end of this second cable was plugged into the back of our telephone. Now, when we get a call, the number comes up on the call blocker screen, and we just press the large red "BLOCK NOW" button to block the call. The total number of blocked calls entered will appear on the call blocker screen. When we took this photo shown, we had blocked nine phone numbers. We will keep this call blocker and enjoy our peace and quiet!!
So far, after being hooked up for 1 daty only, I have not received any robo calls. Before this I was getting more than 6 each day. It is very easy to use.
Easy to use. Works great! Love it!

A. This is most likely down to no caller ID on your line or intermittent caller ID which is usually caused by a faulty/poor quality ADSL micro-filter. Remove the micro-filter to see if this fixes the issue and replace it if necessary with a top quality ADSL microfilter. This problem can also be down to having too many devices attached to your line, so try disconnecting the extra equipment to see if that also resolves the issue.
